Once upon a time a sailing yacht was built, named Borkumrif
II, a Luunstro 2750 Schooner from 1985. She has been totally rebuilt and has
today all the facilities of a modern sailing yacht whilst keeping her classical
appearance.
The refit project began in 2008, when they then named ´Adelite´ was found by Jan
Verkerk who embarked on a rebuilding project
together with Bas Korrel, to convert the classic Adelite
into a luxurious sailing yacht.
Following more than 18 months in the yard, Lady Thuraya was launched. She boasts a modern and contemporary interior complemented by new decks.
